My brothers and sisters and fellow Abians, we have all heard the judgment of the Supreme Court.
We thank God for a well fought battle. God has been in our side till now, and He will continue to be on our side.
In deciding this case, the Supreme Court regrettably took a position that is contrary to the will of God. However, in all things, we give God praise.
We maintain as a fact that Okezie Ikpeazu' s tax papers contain false information for which he should have been disqualified.
What is personally more painful to me is that with this judgment the darkness in Abia is continuing, and Abians will continue to suffer. I pray for God's intervention.
The struggle to liberate Abia remains a task that must be accomplished.
I sincerely thank every one of us for our sacrifices and efforts. And I appeal to all to remain calm and prayerful.
