The Federal Government has unveiled plans to construct 77,400 social housing units across Nigeria under the Renewed Hope Agenda. The initiative includes 3,000 units each in Lagos, Abuja, and Kano, and 100 units in all 774 local government areas.
Minister of State for Housing, Yusuf Ata, said 30% of the homes will be allocated to low-income Nigerians. The government is also seeking private sector partnerships to boost housing delivery and job creation.
