Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, says President Buhari will henceforth begin to work from his home in the Presidential villa Abuja. President Buhari for the third time in weeks, was absent from the Federal Executive Council meeting today April 26th.

Speaking with state house correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi osinbajo, Lai Mohamed said President Buhari needs some rest and has asked that all his work files be brought to his residence in the villa so he can continue with his work.

When top world industry presidents and national leaders who share similar passions gather for a time of presentations, discussions and exchange of ideas, magic always happens. In meetings such as this, with the right people connecting within a sphere of good intentions and available resources, the stage is often set for groundbreaking deals that positively impacts participating nations.

The latest has just busted. Popular Nigerian Musician Blackface, has declared his intension of suing 2face. In a recent interview with Premium Times, Blackface told newsmen:
"Yes, I have; and my legal team is working on that, as that’s the best way to go. When I accused them, they lied and said its ‘unfortunate’. I said they took my song and then even said maybe my account was hacked. Well, if you thought so why didn’t you pick up your phone and say “Yo black... What’s going on?’ But, no they won’t because they wanted to steal it and it backfired, and they trying to act ‘holy’ so they make flimsy excuses. 2face and his manager planned all of that. 2face sang my song (Let Somebody Love You) and featured an American artiste, Bridget Kelly. His manager published it without my permission. Till today they haven’t deemed it fit to tell the world that they tried to assassinate my character in the media but that couldn’t be justice and they know. So, the court is our only option as they keep avoiding meetings thinking that with time it will all fade off. But, they know not what tomorrow holds and neither do I.”

It could be recalled that when 2face released his latest track titled ‘Holy Holy,’ Blackface took offence, claiming that the song was directed at him. Just recently, Blackface has come to claim that 2face and his manager stole the song ‘Let Somebody Love You’ (ft Bridget Kelly) from him. Blackface has always claimed that 2face’ biggest hit the song African Queen was written by him and as a result of this, he and his legal team are putting plans in place to sue 2face and his manager.

Former Nigerian First lady, Patience Jonathan will now have free access to her $5.9 million.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday has restored the access to her. The anti-graft agency had applied for a stay of execution of a court order which unfroze the Skye Bank account where the money is deposited. The agency made the application after a Lagos Federal High Court presided over by Justice Mojisola Olatoregun, ordered that the former First Lady and wife of erstwhile President Goodluck Jonathan’s account be unfrozen.

On Tuesday, a counsel for the EFCC, Rotimi Oyedepo, told the court that the commission had changed its mind about appealing the unfreezing order and was withdrawing its earlier application on stay of execution.Patience’s lawyer, Ifedayo Adedipe, confirming the development, told Justice Olatoregun that the EFCC’s counsel had served him with the EFCC’s application to withdraw its application for stay of proceedings.

The member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Oru East/Orsu/Orlu Federal Constituency of Imo State, Hon Jerry Alagbaoso, has responded to media reports that he had joined the ruling All Progressives Congress as captured in his statement during the commissioning of his constituency projects last week.
Hon Alagbaoso had invited Governor Okorocha to commission his constituency projects, where the state government house emptied to the venue in solidarity with him.
Speaking during the colourful event, the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, who represented the Governor called on Hon Alagbaoso to quickly join the APC without further delay.
Remarkably, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Uche Nwosu, was the Chairman of the occasion.

But the Deputy Speaker who beamed with smiles during the occasion described Hon Alagbaoso as as a great son of the Imo State who does not play politics of bitterness. The Deputy Governor also applauded Alagbaoso for borrowing a lead from the Governor whom he said does not ever play politics with the welfare of his people.
He said: "Asiwaju Jerry Alagbaoso is a great son of Imo State who is representing Orlu-Orsu-Oru East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. What he has done is commendable. He has been very supportive of Owelle Rochas Okorocha led Rescue Mission Government despite the difference in political platform. He understands that after politicking follows Governance.
“This is one area where follows the foot step of our leader, Owelle Rochas Okorocha. What we have come to do today is apolitical because it about dividends, which is for the good of all."
Hon Alagbaoso had also told his guests that he invited Okorocha and his government to come and commission what he attracted to his Federal Constituency through his Chairmanship position of FERMA, the things includes: three divisional police posts, rehabilitation and reconstruction of Federal Roads in his Federal Constituency.
He said: “Your Excellency, it is only those playing to the gallery that argue that you are not performing. Those non-performing propaganda or sayings by some characters are decorated lies or spins for mere "Hara-Kiri" of politics. I am qualified to in all its ramifications to assess administrative performance so far in Imo State.
“Consequently, without fear of contradiction, I make bold to describe you as a living giant of positive achievements but also as a giant actor in the massive infrastructural development in the historical, administrative and political space of Imo State and Nigeria.”

But speaking exclusively to Ifeanyicy.com on the media reports about his joining the APC, Hon Alagbaoso said it was not possible for him to so, adding that he would not cease to commend the Governor where he has done well, stressing that the Governor has done well since he took over as the Governor of the state.
He noted that when he won election to represent his constituents on the platform of the PDP, he became the representative of all the people in his constituency irrespective of party affiliation.
He stressed that being a member of the PDP does not mean he would not applaud the Governor where he has done well because he is from the opposition party, saying he is proud of Okorocha’s achievements.
