Bearing unforeseen circumstances, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State headed by Chief Charles Ugwuh had gone to Abuja on invitation to answer various degree of query knowing that his executive were not living up to expectations.

Touched by their level of political shenanigans and financial improprieties leveled against Imo SWC, Chief Ugwuh and his Executive were seen seated uncomfortably and highly remorseful while awaiting a sledge hammer on them.

Shortly after the arrival of the National Chairman to the venue, it was discovered that Chief Ugwuh and those he is working for had sent emissaries to beg members of the NWC to save his job after verifiable records of financial embezzlement, administrative negligence, highhandedness, incompetence and bias, etc were discovered.

At this point when the NWC had gotten convincing hint about the veracity and authenticity of Chief Ugwuh led Imo SWC’s financial recklessness after the last primary elections concluded to give a final verdict of sacking them, but one man who Chief Ugwuh and colleagues are working against still saved his job.

As a leader that is not vindictive, doesn’t harbour malice, is not envious of others achievements still rose up and pleaded with members of NWC to save them from the sledge hammer. At this moment, Chief Ugwuh and colleagues, including Ihedioha and Imo elders were surprised that Samdaddy could save the situation after all the blackmail and insult against him.

Members of Imo PDP that have long lost confidence in the leadership of Chief Ugwuh led SWC are not happy that after Ugwu and his colleagues had tried their best to blackmail Sandaddy, worked for his suspension or removal; the same Samdaddy still had the mind to save their job.

Anyway, while people are not happy that Ugwuh was given a second chance after Samdaddy intervened, the question begging for answer is; how sure that Chief Ugwuh and executive will repent and work as a neutral umpire?

Sandaddy’s display of maturity is only for the peace, unity, and victory of PDP in the 2023 elections. What if SamDaddy, as PDP National Secretary, also from Imo state had endorsed the dissolution of Chief Ugwuh’s led Imo SWC?, I am aware that some people writing and talking would have changed their talking styles by now. SamDaddy doesn’t do anything to be seen as a strong man, but he first considers both the negative and positive implication of such action.

Samdaddy’s heart of forgiveness, peaceful decorum and spirit of sportsmanship is what Imo PDP needs today to win further elections. Over desperation and political thuggery and hooliganism will not help in the pursuit for victory.

If all politicians can have the same kind of forgiving spirit and tender heart as Samdaddy, no doubt, the kind of political brigandage and killings we have today would have stopped.

Others should emulate Samdaddy’s spirit of acceptance, forgiveness and sportsmanship. This is what we need in our today’s politics!

.... as NWC caution Charles Ugwu over illegal suspension of LGA Chairmen

_ advise Achike Udenwa to reconsider heading Imo Presidential Campaign Council

The Governorship ambition of former Imo state governor, Hon Emeka Ihedioha is said to have suffered setback following decision of the National Working Committee led by Sen Iyorcha Ayu standing down the controversial Imo PDP Presidential Campaign Council and Management Committee List.

Stakeholders of the party on Tuesday met with the National Working Committee at the Party's Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja on invitation by the NWC resulting from the petitions forwarded to the NWC for non inclusion of critical party leaders in the formation of the Imo PDP Presidential Campaign Council list.

Addressing the NWC leaders from Imo who while addressing the National leadership of the party expressed displeasure on the controversial list forwarded to the NWC by the State Working Committee under the leadership of Engr Charles Ugwu.

While addressing members of the National Working Committee, at Wadata Plaza, Amb Kema Chikwe, a former National Woman Leader of the party, in the National Chairman, Sen Iyorcha Ayu that "the problem we have in Imo PDP is the SWC.

"They are compromised. They are a carry over from the former SWC in the state. Their activities are teleguided by Ihedioha. No  governorship aspirant in the Imo state can openly declare to run for election under the platform of PDP for the singular reason that the ticket is secured for one man, that's indeed an insult. "I hereby advise that the NWC do the needful as it concerns the Imo state working committee of PDP to save the party from collapse"

Also, a former state Chairman of the party and ex National Chairman of NPC, Chief Eze Duruiheoma said the state party chairman, Engr Charles Ugwu's statement describing Hon Emeka Ihedioha as the face of PDP in Imo state is an insult to sensibilities of our party leadership.

"The PCC list sent to the NWC do not reflect the decision of the leadership of the party in the state. The Elders Council forum were not consulted, instead the list was prepared between the SWC and one man Ihedioha. Once you don't support the ambition of Ihedioha, you become their enemies and the next is suspension.

For the party to regain confidence of electorate in the state, the State Working Committee's continued stay in office is a threat to peace in the party"

Contributing his voice, the Southeast Zonal Organising Secretary disclosed that "the Imo PDP SWC members are biased.

"My LGA party chairman informed me of his suspension on directives of the SWC, his only offense is that he signed a petition forwarded to the NWC on grounds of financial misappropriation against the SWC.

"As I speak to you Mr Chairman over 17 LGA party Chairmen had received notices of suspension.

"I hereby announce to you Mr Chairman that the current Imo PDP SWC lacks the morality to lead the state to victory ahead of the 2023 general election".

Also, the National Secretary of the Party, Sen Samuel Anyanwu welcomed party faithful to the Wadata Plaza for the interactive session with the National Chairman. Also, he called for unity amongst the party members as he expressed displeasure on impunity ravaging the party in Imo.

Anyanwu narrated his ordeal as the most disrespected National Working Committee member in the Country while admonishing the state working committee to stop intimidating party supporters who do not subscribe to their divide and rule antics.

Reacting to the submission from invited stakeholders of the party, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sen Iyorcha Ayu who called up on the state Chairman, Engr Charles Ugwu to confirm suspension of over seventeen LGA Chairmen of the party, responding, Ugwu denied knowledge of any suspension which led to the National Chairman directing that either there was any suspension or not, the State Working Committee has no right to suspend the LGA Chairmen instead any process for suspension must follow due process and forwarded to office of the National Working Committee for ratification, he said.

Furthermore, Sen Iyorcha Ayu appealed to former governor Achike Udenwa to reconsider leading the Imo PDP Presidential Campaign Council based on his experience and leadership status in the state while nothing that the Presidential Campaign Council List will be reviewed.

The strength and success of an organization is the sacrifice from those leading the organization.

A good leader is known and recognized by his uncompromising decision for result, he abhors selfishness, ego, envy and malice to achieve meaningful success. A good leader does not look for who to witch-hunt or blackmail, but goes for assets and professionalism not minding whether he loves the person or not.

Such desired sacrifices are what is currently required in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to be able to dislodge its numerous challenges.

In the past, some notable leaders of the party had let go of their personal interests for the sustenance of genuine reconciliation, peace and unity of the party.

Such individuals had foregone their political ambitions and resources invested for the sake of peace and tranquillity of the party.

One remarkable thing that has happened to the PDP is the availability of Senator Samuel Anyanwu, popularly known as Samdaddy.

He has made unimaginable sacrifices to retain the impeccable image of PDP before and currently.

As Local Government Executive Chairman, Senator Anyanwu sacrificed his comfort and official powers when political back-biters and  witch-hunters struggled in vain to blackmail him.

He did not use his position to fight back but instead subjected himself to due process and accepted to pass through all those that wished him bad, alas, his enemies were put to shame after the attempt on his pedigree.

As Member of the State Assembly, Senator Anyanwu sacrificed his personal comfort by rejecting all entreaties by the then APC Government of Owelle Okorocha to induce him to join the party.

Senator Anyanwu did not only reject all financial offers to be lured into the APC, but did his best to convert most of his colleagues in the Assembly to join his party, PDP.

At the Senate as a first timer, Senator Anyanwu maintained his cool and stood his ground when the APC government of Muhammad Buhari threatened to shake the red Chambers.

As a smart and dogged Lawmaker, Senator Anyanwu moved the first motion in the Chambers passing an implicit vote of confidence in the then President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki.

This motion no doubt sustained the peace, unity and growth of the Assembly thereby making the 8th Senate the most viable, formidable and organized.

Currently as National Secretary of PDP, Senator Anyanwu has proved his leadership mettle, administration sagacity and social coordination in galvanizing issues concerning the party.

In the party, Senator Anyanwu has made lots of sacrifices and still ready to sacrifice more, all geared towards the unity and growth of PDP.

He has donated millions to the party from Ward to State, paid office rent for the party from Ward to State, donated vehicles, empowered PDP women/youths from Ward to State and restored the party’s policy trust.

Records have it that Senator Anyanwu has remained the most blackmailed, cajoled, insulted and criticized National Secretary of PDP by his brothers and sisters from Imo State who wished he never won that position. All these were meant to deter him from his functions.

As a coordinated politician, he has remained focused, dedicated and articulate in pursuing his dreams. When some sponsored disgruntled elements within the party were incited to malign him and drag his image to the mud during the 2022 primaries, Senator Anyanwu displayed high level of maturity in handling the whole provocation.

What these people who refused to make sacrifices in the PDP failed to understand is that power belongs to God and whoever He gives power, no one queries Him.

While Senator Anyanwu is thinking for the growth, victory and success of PDP, others are desperate, pushing down people, blackmailing and fueling crises against PDP fir their selfish desires.

Mr. Onwuasoanya FCC Jones is one hell of a writer that writes for whosoever can foot his bills, he will surely pen good words for the Devil if he can pay him too. He is a perfect fit for what you can call “ANYWHERE BELLE FACE WRITER”.

Joncing Jones started writing for Sir Ikedi Ohakim and dropped him like a pack of cards the minute Ihedioha raised the stakes and started rubbishing the ex Gov. on social media. He joined The Green Cap Fraternity (his own words for Ihedioha and his apologists) and dumped them for Okorocha and APC he once described as “Janjaweed Party”. Don’t forget he served as Publicity Secretary of the Imo Chapter of the Janjaweed Party. That’s Jones for you, he jonces. Immediately his bills was met by Okorocha my friend Jones started hauling insults on PDP leaders, Ihedioha and everyone else. Immediately Okorocha stopped paying, joncing Jones wrote a long epistle, resigned from the Janjaweed Party and briefly wrote for the Sen Hope Uzodimma led Government that settled the under 40 years old IMSU graduate with membership of the state Elders Council. Barely a few months into his membership of the Elders Council, seeing that nothing good is coming out from it, Joncing Jones started attacking the same government on social media.

Today, a House of Representatives candidate from Ideato area has bought him over to work for Ihedioha failed third term ambition and Samdaddy Anyanwu has become his only focus. Same man once wrote glowingly about Sen Samuel Anyanwu even appreciating him for donating 600,000 Naira to his failed film project in Lagos and ofcourse condemned the Mbutu Green Cap Fraternity leader but now his past has caught up with him. He is ashamed and embarrassed by his past articles on both men.

Because I chose to remind him of his past articles on both Samdaddy and the Mbutu Green Cap Confraternity leader, Ihedioha, FCC Jones has written the above thrash put my name to it then added COPIED hoping it will fly and avoid litigation too.

I challenge FCC Jones to do what I’m doing and will do in the next few days to come, get the link or screenshot of where and when I wrote this gibberish against Samdaddy Anyanwu or hide in shame.

NB: Find below, the obnoxious articles that has kept Joncing Jones awake at night.
