The Honorable member representing the good people of Isiala Mbano/Onuimo/Okigwe Federal constituency in the green chambers of the National Assembly, Hon. (Engr) Obinna Kingsley Onwubuariri, who had presented a motion to the National Assembly asking The Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) to create a toll-free line that will help save Nigerians in distress, has seen his input given due attention by the commission.
The motion was given an overwhelming welcome by the entirety of lawmakers in the National Assembly as a big step towards solving the age long problems of improper communication between Nigerians and their “aid” providers.
And just last week, the NCC adopted the witty motion presented by the burgeoning legislator, Hon. Onwubuariri, thus creating a toll free number to all networks.
In an official statement, the NCC directs “Nigerians to Dial 622 to report any telecommunication company that deducts their money illegally through dial tunes, SMS etc or arbitrarily without their consent”.
This is yet another legislative giant strike by the performing Imo federal lawmaker, even as encomiums are being showered on him for providing the path for Nigerians to trudge on.
