Mohammed Am’ore, a GTBank driver, was stabbed to death Sunday night while helping a vigilante group arrest suspected miscreants in the Fadikpe area of Minna, Niger State.
Police confirmed that Am’ore was assisting in apprehending individuals allegedly smoking cannabis when one suspect, Nura Buhari, stabbed him with scissors and fled. He later died at General Hospital Minna.
One suspect, Abdullahi Rabiu, has been arrested and is aiding police investigations. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend others involved.
