The Nigeria Customs Service confiscated 1,577 jerry cans (39,425 liters) of smuggled petrol valued at ₦39.4 million across southwestern border points.
Eight vehicles used in smuggling, worth ₦24 million, were also seized. The total seized assets are valued at ₦63.4 million. The fuel will be auctioned under Customs directive, with continued collaboration from regulatory agencies to curb smuggling.
