The federal government has filed a defamation suit against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over alleged remarks made on live TV. Filed on May 16 at the FCT High Court, the suit cites sections 391 and 392 of the Penal Code. Senate President Godswill Akpabio and ex-Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello are listed as witnesses.
