FG Secures 20mscf Gas Deal to Boost CNG Adoption

The Federal Government has secured an agreement for an additional 20 million standard cubic feet of gas to meet rising demand for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by vehicle owners.

PCNGI CEO Michael Oluwagbemi said the government aims to convert up to 200,000 vehicles to CNG by year-end and targets one million CNG-powered vehicles by 2027, alongside expanded private sector collaboration and more refueling stations nationwide.
