The Lagos State Government has distributed sports equipment to 1,664 public schools to boost student athletic development. Facilitated by the Lagos State Sports Trust Fund, the initiative covered 1,020 primary and 644 secondary schools across all education districts.
Items distributed include footballs, spike shoes, table tennis boards, chess sets, and first aid kits. Officials hailed the move as a major step in Governor Sanwo-Olu’s efforts to promote sports and education.
