Nigeria Backs $400m Rare Earth Plant in Nasarawa

The Federal Government has endorsed a $400 million project by Hasetins Commodities Ltd to build Africa’s largest rare earth and critical minerals processing plant in Nasarawa State.

Expected to create over 10,000 jobs, the facility will boost local value addition and industrialisation. Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake, said the plant reflects Tinubu’s reforms, while Hasetins cited improved regulations and anti-illegal mining efforts as key investment drivers.
