Nigerian Stock Market Gains N279bn as 46 Stocks Rally



The Nigerian stock market rose by N279 billion on Monday, driven by gains in 46 equities. Market capitalisation increased by 0.37% to N74.812 trillion, while the All-Share Index climbed to 118,579.65 points. 


Top gainers included Beta Glass, Champion Breweries, FTN Cocoa, Neimeth, and Presco—all up by 10%. Major losers were Julius Berger, Chams Holding, and Multiverse Mining. Over 653 million shares valued at N21.33 billion were traded, with Fidelity Bank leading in volume.
