The Senate has approved Rivers State’s 2025 budget, totaling ₦1.485 trillion, after the third reading of the appropriation bill.
The approval followed the consideration of the Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State’s report during the Committee of Supply session.
The bill authorizes the withdrawal of ₦1,485,662,592,442 from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Rivers State for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025.
