Faulty Meters, Billing Errors Drive 254,000 Power Complaints in Q1 2025



NERC reports 254,404 electricity complaints in Q1 2025, mostly over faulty meters, billing errors, and service disruptions. 


Port Harcourt DisCo received the most complaints, while Kano DisCo saw an 86% spike. NERC says N32.2bn was refunded to overbilled customers.
