FIRS Urges Tax Education in Schools to Boost Compliance

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has called for tax education to be integrated into Nigeria's school curriculum. Speaking during the launch of the book “Taxation: Essential Knowledge for Nigerian Children” in Abuja, FIRS Chairman Zacch Adedeji emphasized the need to raise tax-aware citizens from a young age. Over 50,000 free copies of the book will be distributed nationwide to promote early financial literacy and civic responsibility.
