The NWFL Premiership side, Heartland Queens FC hereby expressed her deepest condolences to the Imo state Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Obinna Onyeocha over the sad and sudden death of his dearest mother, Ezinne Lolo Emilia Akueze Onyeocha, nee Ekezie in the early hours of Thursday, May 29, 2025 after a brief illness.
The shocking event happened while the amiable and workaholic Commissioner for Sports was far away on official duty at the just concluded 2024 National Sports Festival, tagged, 'Gateway Games' in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Heartland Queens share in the deepest pains the entire Onyeocha families are going through at the moment over the shocking departure to the great beyond of their beloved mother and pray that Almighty God will give the bereaved, especially Hon. Obinna Onyeocha the fortitude and strengths to bear the irreparable loss. The mainstreams also pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of late Ezinne Lolo Emilia Akueze Onyeocha.
The loss of any being is tough and painful but that of a mother is excruciatingly painful, Heartland Queens implore Hon. Onyeocha and family to keep faith as faithfuls and take solace in the fact that Mama lived well her entire life on earth and left behind incredible legacies.
