President Bola Tinubu has reportedly agreed to reinstate Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara on the condition he will not seek re-election in 2027, according to The Cable.
The deal, reached during a closed-door meeting with key political figures including FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, also grants Wike the power to nominate all 23 LGA chairpersons, effectively restoring his grassroots control.
